Who Needs a REALTOR®?
Everyone that wants to know for sure that they got the best deal and who wants to feel secure that all the Real Estate laws were followed and that all the taxes were paid. Who wants to lose sleep at night worried that something was over looked? Real Estate transactions can be confusing, with all the legal terms and jargon, it is easy to get lost. Whether you are buying or selling, you need to have your best interest represented by a knowledgeable and trustworthy REALTOR®. Not all Real estate agents are REALTORS®, REALTORS® are held to a higher standard. I personally hold myself to an even higher standard than the Board of REALTORS®, I am new to the Real Estate business, and I am eager to prove myself. I believe that success in the Real Estate industry is measured by repeat customers and referrals. I live by the golden rule: "Treat others as I want to be treated". I will be honest with you and keep you informed of what is happening with your property. I may not immediately have an answer to all your questions, but I will tell you that I don't know, but I will find out and let you know as soon as possible. You will quickly learn that I am NOT a pushy salesperson, I listen to what you have to say and find every thing I can that fits your criteria, if you like something...great, we will move into the next phase. Who is Debra Tiller?
I think it is important to know the people you are working with. I'll go first, I am originally from Hartwell, Ga. I was raised by grandmother after the death of my parents when I was 3 yrs. old. I am the type of person that has never known a stranger. I moved to Lake Secession in 1997 when I married my husband, Chris, a life long resident of Abbeville. That is when my love for South Carolina lake living began. We have a 9 yr old daughter, Cheyenne, and custody of his 15 yr old son,
Michael, from a previous marriage. I guess because of my childhood, I have very strong sense of family importance today. My husband's father passed away many years ago and left for his children several tracts of land. This land is very important to my husband because it is all he has left of his father. The value placed on this land by my husband has helped me to realize the true beauty that every piece of land holds within itself. That is the reason I got into the Real Estate business, I love to look at land. Large tracts used for farming and cattle, lake lots and the peaceful serenity of being on the water and of course, looking at beautiful homes.
I am one of the lucky people, I get to do something I love for a living. I enjoy my work and meeting new friends. Everyday I learn something new and exciting, no two days are ever the same and that makes life fun. I have always challenged myself to learn new things, in 2000 I learned to MIG weld just to see if I could, then I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Piedmont Technical College in 2003. I was awarded Distinguished Graduate for Engineering Technology and was a Chapter officer in Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society and Tau Alpha Pi Engineering Honor Society. I was named to the Who's Who Among American Junior Colleges, I was named to the South Carolina All State Academic Team and I was a Presidential Ambassador. Now, I have the security of a college degree if I need something to fall back on.
In addition to the Lake Secession property, we have a home on a large tract of farm land that has been in my husband's family for several generations.My family and I attend Rice Memorial Baptist Church. God has blessed me with the gift of family, friends, land and eternal life.
